Once they’re lined up in the window, check the ones you want to join together, and hit Start. If you’d like to merge songs, use the Add button to find the ones you’d like to join. When you’re sure you’re set right, press Start. When you think you have the points correctly set, you can use the “play clip” button to make sure that the audio that plays corresponds to the bit you want to trim out. To cut, play the track and use the controls to set the start and end of the cut point (you can also manually input the start and end points). To actually cut or merge an audio track, you’ll pick the appropriate tab, and then add the track (or tracks) via the Add button. Strangely, there is an area for a preset option but, in this app, it is greyed out and can’t be used. Under Settings, you’ll see options to tweak the encoder, the bit rate, and the channel. The window where your cutting and joining will take place is in the middle. Along the right-hand side, you’ll see the options of Add, Remove, and Settings. The two program features - cutting and joining - are separated on two tabs at the top of the app. The interface is unattractive and dated, with no customization options or means to improve it.
